Position: Auto Technician
Location: Palmer, Alaska
Employment Type: Full-Time

Are you a skilled Auto Technician looking for a career with a reputable and growing auto repair shop? Join our team at 1023 Diesel and Fleet, where we prioritize quality, integrity, and a customer-first approach. We are seeking an experienced technician to help maintain our reputation for delivering top-notch service.

Responsibilities:

Perform accurate and high-quality repairs and maintenance on various vehicle makes and models.
Conduct thorough diagnostics and provide repair recommendations using the latest equipment and technology.
Complete Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVI) to document and communicate issues to service advisors and customers.
Stay up to date with industry best practices and new technologies through regular training.
Collaborate with the service team to ensure timely completion of repairs and customer satisfaction.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace following safety and shop protocols.

Qualifications:

Experience as an auto technician in a busy repair shop.
Proficiency in diagnostics, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, and engine repair.
Ability to use modern diagnostic equipment (e.g., Autel, Snap-On) and software.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes thoroughly.
Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and high-quality repairs.
ASE Certification (or willingness to obtain within the first year).
