This question is very difficult to answer. Today we face many challenges when it comes to identifying the root cause of a customer's concern. Today vehicles are more complex than they have ever been, requiring access to many special tools, software, and training to service, and unfortunately there are many variables involved that creates a scenario where no two concerns are very rarely the same. Here at 1023 we have obtained access to dealership level diagnostic software for Ford, Ram/Dodge and Chevy/GM as well as factory trained and certified technicians to help us overcome these challenges. Once the concern root cause is identified we then face challenges when it comes to obtaining quality parts, these days parts availability is a major concern. At 1023 we have partnered with some of the largest OEM wholesalers to be able to provide the highest quality replacement parts at fair prices providing the customer with confidence that the repairs were made with quality parts we can stand behind. Because of these challenges we face we are not able to provide a completion date at the time of scheduling an appointment. What we can do is make a commitment to all of our customers that we will do everything we can to ensure that the repair is done swiftly without sacrificing quality.

We do not perform repairs with parts that the customer provides. We are not able to provide support, warranty or ensure the quality of repairs with parts that we have not purchased through our industry partners. When we have an issue with a part that we purchase through our industry partners we receive support in the form of technical information, and in the event of a parts failure we are provided with a reimbursement for the time we spend replacing the failed part under warranty. We can not provide this to customers who provide their own parts so we are unable to perform these repairs.

At 1023 we have a very specific repair process that we follow for all repairs to ensure that the vehicle is repaired correctly the first time. This holds us accountable for the results. If we deviate from this repair process we no longer have control of the results and can not provide our customer with the guarantee that our service has met their expectations.

We are unable to provide an accurate estimated cost for repairing your vehicle without first getting the vehicle into our shop and starting our repair process. There are many factors involved in determining the root cause for your concern, as well as determining the proper repair plan to suit your needs. Because of this any estimated cost we give out before performing our testing and inspections would be inaccurate. 

We always prefer to use OEM parts whenever possible, and whenever it is determined to be the best option for the customer. That being said, there are times we will recommend an aftermarket replacement part, or an aftermarket upgrade. An example of this would be the fuel supply system for a 98.5-02 Dodge Ram. The factory fuel supply systems were plagued with issues and there are better alternatives on the market that make sense for a lot of customers. This would slow down the repair process so if time was of high concern then we might suggest alternatives that can be supplied from our local retailers.
