The Edge Products 98620 EAS Expandable EGT Probe With Lead allows you to monitor exhaust gas temperatures with your Edge Product CS, CTS, CS2 and CTS2. The Expandable designed allows you to add optional expandable accessories from Edge Products such as pressure and temp sensors. This re-designed version of the original EAS Starter Kit EGT Probe, is built with a 15" lead so that the EGT Probe can be easily replaced, or removed without needing to replace the cable or other electronics.

    Easy Installation

    The probe was very easy to install, just have to be careful and take your time when drilling and tapping the hole in the manifold. A small magnet works wonders to get excess shavings out, as well as a dab of grease on the drill bit to grab shavings. The only thing I would suggest is that they include the drill bit and thread tap with the probe. It took me a while to find a store with the right tap size.
